TO SEE THE HORROR MOVIE OR NOT TO..THAT IS THE QUESTION

There is still quite a bit of buzz about Frontier(s) the Horror movie that is coming to our town. I checked our select theater listings and found that, yes indeed, it is coming to our city.

There is much buzz about the movie because it is an UNRATED AND UNCUT. People are wondering if the movie should be coming to normal, everyday movie theaters. The Trailer is quite disturbing to me, but it's been years since I've watched a horror movie so take that for what it's worth.

Those who did view the Trailer are wondering if people under the age of 18 are going to be able to watch the movie, due to the unrated status. Against all odds and unlike most all other movies, it has been able to be released in MANY theaters unrated and uncut. We aren't talking about a DVD here, we are talking about a theater viewing experience of an Unrated, Gross-Out, Gorey blood-fest.

To add fire to the flame, it was announced that the DVD release date is only 4 days later!

So the debate swirls. How will this movie affect the MPAA rating system as it makes quasi-history? Will teens be allowed to view it because it is not rated R? Is there even a law governing Unrated films? Does the theater have the right to turn kids away
or worse yet, do they have the legal right to allow them in!!

You may want to check select theater listings to see if it is coming to your town. Then, I suppose you'll have to ask yourself if your teen can go see it.

Let me know what you decide and/or what you think of the movie if you see it. I've interested to know all the answers. :-)
