ENGLISH 11: Read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
After you are finished with the book begin THESE question
and answer questions and projects. I will not accept yes and no
answers. All answers must be WELL THOUGHT OUT.
When they are finished English 11 is complete.

HEALTH: This will be from the college PHED online class.

HISTORY/GEOG:
**As you watch the following movies, chart them on a timeline detailing what historical
time they represent, the historical war, incident, activity going on at that time
and the dates they represent as near as you can tell. GET CREATIVE!

1. Watch Into the Arms Of Strangers: Write an essay about his life, your thoughts,
what you learned about that time in history, how does he affect us?
2. Watch Schindler's List: Write an essay about your thoughts,
what you learned about that time in history.
3. Watch Roots: Wrtie an essay about your thoughts,
what you learned about that time in history.
4. Watch Ghandi: Write an essay about your thoughts, what you learned about
that time in history, how does it affect us?
5. Watch Pearl Harbor: Write an essay about your thoughts, what
you learned about that time in history, how does it affect us?
6. Watch Wind Talkers: Write an essay about your thoughts,
what you learned about that time in history, how does it affect us?
7. Watch Hotel Rwanda: Write an essay about your
thoughts, more about that time in history, how does it affect us?
8. Watch The Education of Little Tree: Write essay...
9. Watch Medea Goes To Jail and Medea's Family Reunion.
Why do you think these movies were made?

Do you feel that comedys can be used to shape thoughts and
norms of today? Do you think these particular movies
have a place of substance in today's times? Why or why not?
What do you think is the cause of racial economic and educational
differences in America?
10. Watch Beyond the Gates of Splendor. Write an essay detailing
any and all thoughts you have about this type of ministry, the need
for it or lack thereof and what you feel or think about this true movie.
11. Explain in detail the reasons for WWI, WWII,
The VietNam War(conflict)and The Cold War.

type a one page report about one of them each day.

4. Pick 4 elements. Write a one page report about EACH
element explaining where they are on the chart, why they are
in that exact spot on the chart, Their Chemical Properties,
Health effects and Environmental effects.

CIVICS: This assignment is the end of your Civics course.
Watch
1. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
and
2. Can Mr. Smith Get to Washington Anymore?
Explain the battle, what you know about the political process from your class and these movies
and any other thoughts you'd like to share.
