My aunt has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Her daily struggles are hard to watch and the hope for a cure is lost in her lifetime. The hope is that our children will not have to face this disease. The actions they take now can help them in their future and leave a legacy for their children.
If your teen would like to organize an Alzheimer's Memory Walk please click the link to help them take the first step to achieve this community service opportunity. Their actions today can make all the difference.

A very good cause indeed. I think it is important, as homeschoolers, to involve our kids in volunteering, and charity, when it is feasible of course.
What a fantastic idea for a community service idea! This would be a great opportunity for scout troops as well.
